It enables you to confidentially log your discoveries on a map, including an image, name, description, and rating to gauge the significance of the treasure. Additionally, you can trace your exploration route to precisely track where you've scanned with the metal detector, identify unexplored zones, and pinpoint the areas with the highest likelihood of uncovering valuable finds. All data is stored securely and encrypted, ensuring your findings and routes remain private.

When you pinpoint a discovery on the map, you can assign a classification to determine whether it's a mere piece of foil or a valuable find. This functionality simplifies area analysis to identify active zones that yield the most treasures with a metal detector. Moreover, you can upload an image of the discovery along with a description for easy recollection of what was found, when, and where. Lastly, you can elaborate on the find by providing a name and description to retain specific details or recount how it was discovered and its initial condition at a later date.

The route logging feature proves handy for precisely tracking your movements and subsequently checking for any overlooked areas during metal detecting expeditions. Upon completing a log, you can save it for future reference by activating or deactivating it on the map. This way, if you revisit a familiar site, you can reactivate all previously logged routes to avoid reexamining already searched spots. Furthermore, once the route is finalized, points can be deleted or edited in case of accidental entries, all while keeping battery consumption minimal by customizing the tracing frequency from every 10 to 60 seconds.

Moreover, this tool offers map layer customization to suit individual preferences and different environmental conditions such as color scheme adjustments, landscape relief enhancements, or text displays. By publicly sharing findings, you can aid other enthusiasts in understanding the contents of specific sites or avoid over-explored areas.

For optimal functionality, this application requires location permission to mark the treasure's location and identify nearby discoveries; background location access permission to monitor your path and uncover unvisited locations; as well as photo/storage permission to capture or select visual information related to the discovery for documentation.
